THE EVENT

In the October School Holidays, Wynn Vale in South Australia will see it’s first TeenStreet. We will all be staying on site at Kings Baptist Grammar School. (how to get there) All 8 days will be packed with opportunities to learn, digest, interact, explore, build relationships and have heaps of fun.

TeenStreet is not for the light-hearted! TeenStreet is presented by OM… the same crowd that brought you the Doulos, and sends people into mission all over the world.

THE DETAILS

Location:  King’s Baptist Grammar School, 3 Keithcot Farm Drive, Wynn Vale SA 5127
Arrive:  by 3:00pm on Saturday October 8
Depart:  12pm on Saturday October 15

Teens Normal Cost:  $195
Teens Earlybird Cost:  $165  (before September 9)
TeenStreet Staff:  $165
Children of Staff:  $50  (Between 2 and 13. Under 2s are free)

THE MINISTRY

TeenStreet originated in Europe and has gone International… now landing in Australia. “Our goal is to work with the church to motivate and equip Christian teens to have a real friendship with Jesus so that they reflect Him daily in their world.”

The ministry takes Teens on an adventure through two areas…. Looking UP to God / and / Looking OUT to others. Through what we call our ‘Double Vision’ we cover the two vital areas of “my relationship with Jesus” and “Missions”

As opposed to simply teaching this from on stage, we must communicate with the Teens in ways they understand, so it goes home with them in their hearts and not just their notebooks.

How do we do this? Impact / Relationships / Empowerment
There is no point in creating another ‘retreat’ for teens without making sure that they are part of a positive community the year-round, so we want to work closely with their church and are especially seeking to partner with smaller, under-resourced churches and youth groups. Our hope is that they will benefit from resourcing, connecting & training at the event and throughout the year with TeenStreet 365.
