The Ministry

TeenStreet originated in Europe and has gone International… now landing in Australia. “Our goal is to work with the church to motivate and equip Christian teens to have a real friendship with Jesus so that they reflect Him daily in their world.”

The theme of Wild Kingdom takes Teens on an adventure through two areas…. Looking UP to God / and / Looking OUT to others. Through what we call our ‘Double Vision’ we cover the two vital areas of “my relationship with Jesus” and “Missions”

As opposed to simply teaching this from on stage, we must communicate with the Teens in ways they understand, so it goes home with them in their hearts and not just their notebooks.

How do we do this? Impact / Relationships / Empowerment

There is no point in creating another ‘retreat’ for teens without making sure that they are part of a positive community the year-round, so we want to work closely with their church and are especially seeking to partner with smaller, under-resourced churches and youth groups. Our hope is that they will benefit from resourcing, connecting & training at the event and throughout the year with TeenStreet 365.

The Event

At Easter Monday 2010 the first Aussie TeenStreet will be held in Dural, Sydney. April 5 - 10. We will all be staying on site in Classrooms, tents, caravans & whatever else we can find. All 6 days will be packed with opportunities to learn, digest, interact, explore, build relationships and have heaps of fun.

TeenStreet is not for the light-hearted! TeenStreet is presented by OM… the same crowd that brought you the Doulos, and sends people into mission all over the world.
